Academic Help

The goal of the The Homework Depot program is to provide a place where students can receive academic help from either peers, teachers or adult community members.

Tutoring will be offered every day during period 5 lunch periods. Students and Coaches would be able to get their lunches first and sign out of the cafeteria. They would go to Room 402 and sign in. The students will work with the Student Coaches while eating their lunch. Students and tutors are not allowed to leave the tutoring area until the end of the lunch period. There are restrooms and drinking fountains available in the area.

The students will have access to the computers and internet.

Students are welcome to fill out the application for academic assistance, but it is not required to receive help. The students can come during the lunch periods or after school any time that they need help. If there is a specific subject that the student needs assistance in, we can arrange to have a Comet Student Coach that specializes in that area present. This is also an opportunity for students to make up tests and work on absent or make up work. We encourage students to come in during a Homework Depot session any time! There is an open invitation!
