Meet our school health team:

  • Kathy Jones APN, CSN:  Kathy Jones is the full-time Certified School Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse in Holistic Health.  She services the four school centers for regular education and special education.  Kathy is also certified in Vision & Hearing Screening.
  • Jenna Farcus, RN, BSN: Jenna is a Registered Nurse serving the ELS program at Reed-Custer Intermediate School. While nurse Kathy Jones is still the district RN, Jenna provides the day-to-day nursing services and care to the general education students at RCIS. Jenna is certified in CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation. She is more than happy to talk with any parent/guardian regarding their student!
  • Leann Milstead, LPN: Leann is a Licensed Practical Nurse serving as the health aide for regular education students and SOWIC special needs students at RCPS.
  • Victoria O’Brien, MA- Certified School Psychologist servicing regular and special education students in all district schools.

Illinois School Health Mandated Requirements



These mandated health requirements are due on the first day of school:

*Save yourself money!  If your student is in a sport activity, the Illinois mandated Physical Exam (6th or 9th grade) can be used as a Sports' Physical Exam.  However, the Sports' Physical Exam does not meet the requirement for the State of Illinois mandated Physical Exam.
