STEM

 

 

RCMS Industrial Technology is a nine week  Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) class in which each student will have the opportunity to experience and explore various units related to industrial technology.  Each unit is a self-contained module which provides the students with a multi-sensory experience through the use of computer technology, internet, audiovisual presentations, text content, and hands on experiences.  Our STEM classroom has ten different module units and is available to students in 7th and 8th grade.  Unit module opportunities include: Robotics, Rocketry and Space, Electronics, CNC Manufacturing, Computer Aided Drafting and Design, Alternative Energy, Practical Skills, Small Engines, Applied Physics, and Engineering Bridges.  As a bonus RCMS students will have the opportunity to experiment with GoPro cameras and Syma Quadcopter Drones.
