Director of Technology's Message
Reed Custer School District is committed to enabling all students the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to become productive members of society. Technology has changed the world our students live in, and our schools must reflect these changes. Schools must embrace technology as a prime enabling vehicle to promote engaged learning strategies that will prepare students to become productive in the adult world. As workers, citizens, consumers, and information seekers, they will need technology skills in every aspect of their lives. Reflecting today's world, our school's goal is to integrate technology into every aspect of school life.
Our schools must use appropriate technology to enable students to access, analyze, and apply information both independently and collaboratively. Technology skills are needed to support learning, personal productivity, responsible behavior, decision-making, and daily life. These skills are essential in achieving our goal of creating engaged, lifelong learners who can make informed decisions and attain their maximum potential in today's world.
