Welcome to Reed-Custer High School. Please allow me to introduce to you the concept of what I will refer to as Comet Attitudes. These attitudes are based on the fact that we believe in the dignity and the promise of each individual. We will strive to promote these attitudes at Reed-Custer High School:

Integrity is the ability to commit ourselves to a moral and ethical conduct, which includes honesty, responsibility and the strength to make the right choices.

We believe that respect, characterized by sharing, fairness, courtesy, kindness and good sportsmanship, promotes Comet Attitudes both in the individual and the community.

At Reed-Custer, we value and foster creativity and independent thought. We value and admire striving for academic excellence. Our goal is to help each student learn to utilize more of their full potential and take advantage of the many educational resources at Reed-Custer High School.

Finally, we believe Reed-Custer High School is a community that encourages strong ties of friendship. This friendship is expressed through our caring, concern and respect for and service to other people. This component of Comet Attitudes elevates and fosters the growth of all members of our community.
