“R-C-M-S, YES! THE BEST!” The Panther Cheerleaders are devoted to bringing school spirit to basketball games, community events, and IESA competitions throughout the season. Cheerleaders have one of the longest seasons of RC athletics! Therefore, being a member of the squad takes extreme dedication and hard work. Due to an overlap in seasons, cheerleaders are not allowed to participate in basketball or volleyball teams here at RCMS.

When Do We Want It?!

RCMS Cheerleaders will attend all home basketball games, as well as three competitions throughout the months of November-January. Attendance is of the utmost importance to having a successful season! Please refrain from scheduling family vacations and long trips until after our season is over. Cheerleaders will begin attending practices in September 3-4 times a week, as well as choreography and stunting “camps” on weekends. Our season will conclude with our IESA State Competition in mid-late January.

In order to participate in RCMS Cheer, a physical is required.  Health forms can be found here
