Superintendent's Message

 

My name is Mark Mitchell, and I am entering my 32nd year in public education. I would like to thank you for visiting the Reed-Custer CUSD 255 website. Reed-Custer is a PreK-12 School District that proudly accepts the great privilege and responsibility of preparing and motivating all students for future success. We strive to offer academic and extra-curricular opportunities for students of all interests, and we refuse to look in the rearview mirror at past hurdles and difficulties. We understand the importance of proactively looking forward and striving to find ways to improve all that we do - the future begins here! Our theme for the upcoming school year will be ​​Hold the Rope. We work as a team to offer the best service possible to students, parents, and the entire Reed-Custer community.  We understand that every individual member makes a significant difference and should be trusted to hold the rope and support others during both good times and bad.  I am incredibly thankful to have the opportunity to lead this amazing school District, and I look forward to another year of collaborative teamwork with students, staff, parents, the Board of Education, and all other stakeholders.
